Cristiano Ronaldo's first season in Saudi Arabia will end without a trophy as his Al Nassr side eventually lost out to Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League title race.

Al Nassr were held to a 1-1 draw at Al Ettifaq, with Luiz Gustavo's late strike ruled out by VAR before Talisca was denied by the woodwork in added time.

Despite a late rally from Al Nassr, their result was eventually rendered irrelevant as Al Ittihad stormed to a 3-0 victory at Al Feiha.

Al Nassr will now wrap up their domestic campaign at home to Al Fateh next weekend before kicking off the Arab Club Championships in July
