Men's Lacrosse Announces Addition of John Cook to Coaching Staff ...

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's lacrosse head coach Jon Torpey announced the addition of John Cook to the staff ahead of the 2025 campaign. Cook arrives to College Hill after spending the last two seasons on Torpey's staff at High Point. At High Point, Cook coached the faceoff unit and served as the program's Director of Operations. During his time, Cook helped the faceoff unit finish the 2024 season with a 57% winning percentage. Cook coached Collin Hoben at High Point, who finished the 2024 campaign ranked 20th in the NCAA in faceoff winning percentage. Cook graduated cum laude from High Point in 2021 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Coaching. He was a four-year lacrosse letterwinner.
