How to watch UFC Fight Night (6/27/20): Dustin Poirier vs. Dan Hooker, Mike Perry vs. Mickey Gall, more

Both Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker are looking to stay in the lightweight title hunt during the UFC Fight Night main event at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, June 27 (6/27/2020). Originally scheduled for April 9 in Austin, Texas, the event was postponed and relocated to Las Vegas amid the coronavirus pandemic.
UFC on ESPN: Poirier vs. Hookerwill be broadcast on ESPN, and can be streamed live on ESPN Plus, Sling TV, AT&T TV, Hulu with Live TV and other services.
No. 3-ranked lightweight Poirier (25-6-0) takes on No. 5-ranked Hooker (20-8-0) while riding a three-fight winning streak. Poirier has won seven out of his last eight fights, though Hooker is 7-1 since moving up to lightweight in 2017.
Hooker had to handle more than just preparing for the fight this week, though. The New Zealand native was just recently able to get his visa to enter the United States, but says he never lost focus on the fight.
“Mentally I was 100 percent committed to the fight, I knew it was going to happen,” Hooker told ESPN. “My only real concern was for my team and the people coming with me. And their sacrifice and the time they’re spending away from their family. Because they have to be with me fight week, they’re taking the risk coming over here, they got two weeks in isolation when they get back. I’m very grateful they made the sacrifice.”
The main fight card starts at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN Plus, with the preliminary bouts are at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN Plus.
The co-main event is a welterweight matchup between Mike Perry (13-6-0) and Mickey Gall (6-2-0). Perry has earned most of the hype entering Saturday’s fight after announcing that his new girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez, would be training him and also be the only person working his corner during the fight.
