Spotify Canada giving free Google Nest Mini to Premium subscribers

Spotify moved a little too early yesterday and announced a promotion that gave a free Nest Mini to Spotify Premium subscribers.

The company quickly removed the page from its site and promised a quick return, but now, today is the day.

Of course, there are some limitations to the offer. For example, Spotify Premium subscribers that have already redeemed a Nest Mini smart speaker from Spotify in the past, or those within ‘Family Plans’ or in ‘Partner accounts,’ don’t qualify. That said, the head of each Family Plan or Partner account can take advantage of the offer.

In addition, Spotify notes that this deal is ‘not open to users on trials,’ so you have to be a Premium Spotify subscriber already.

You can access this offer here to ‘Get your Google Nest Mini’ code emailed to you. Then, you need to ensure your Spotify and Google accounts are connected before being redirected to the Google Store where you can select your Nest Mini. It’s important to note that the credit for the Nest Mini is applied at checkout. Colours include ‘Chalk,’ ‘Charcoal,’ ‘Coral,’ and ‘Sky.’

Spotify notes that the offer ends on September 30th, 2020 and that it’s only available “while supplies last.” Codes also expire on October 31st, 2020.
