Blue Jays designate Anthony Bass for assignment activate Mitch

Bass and the Blue Jays have been facing criticism after the 35-year-old shared a video on Instagram that supported anti-2SLGBTQ+ boycotts of Target and Bud Light nearly two weeks ago.

Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins addresses the media after announcing they had DFA’d reliever Anthony Bass, saying that performance and distraction both played into their decision, but ultimately they’re trying to put together their best possible team.
