UEFA Champions League draw results, live updates: 2023/24 group ...

Some of Europe's biggest football clubs will discover their fate on Thursday, August 31 as the Champions League group stage draw is made at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Current holders Manchester City feature in pot one where they'll be joined by fellow domestic champions Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Napoli. Last season's Europa League winners Sevilla also take their place in the first pot.
Elsewhere in the draw there's a number of iconic sides somewhat out of place with Real Madrid and Manchester United both in pot 2 and Milan in pot 3. Newcastle United return to the competition for the first time since the 2003/04 season and take their spot in pot 4 alongside Scottish champions Celtic.

45 mins to draw time: Four Premier League teams will be looking to make an impact on the Champions League this season as Manchester City aim to defend their title.
City are in Pot 1 for today's draw, with Arsenal and Manchester United in Pot 2, and Newcastle in Pot 4.
United and Arsenal cannot face each other in the group stages, but both the Gunners and the Red Devils could face a tough test in the weeks ahead, depending on their fate today.

Which teams are in the Champions League draw?The draw will include 32 teams, with 24 automatic qualifiers already confirmed, with six teams emerging through the playoff rounds ahead of the draw.
These teams are divided into four pots of eight teams, with the eight groups taking one team from each pot. Teams from the same association, such as Manchester City and Arsenal, cannot be drawn in the same group as per UEFA rules.
The exact lineup in each pot was decided on the basis of UEFA's coefficient rankings following the conclusion of the final playoff matches on August 30.
