Live Updates Eagles vs Saints
The Eagles are in New Orleans for a battle of NFC teams against the Saints. Follow along here for live updates throughout.

The Eagles were back in action today on the road against the New Orleans Saints.

After falling to the Falcons on Monday Night Football, the team was looking to get back on track against the undefeated Saints who were coming off of a 44-19 victory over the Cowboys last week.

The Eagles pulled out a tough 15-12 victory over the Saints behind a big day from tight end Dallas Goedert, who had 10 catches for 170 yards. The defense played their best outing of the young season, putting pressure on Derek Carr and coming up with the game-sealing interception from Reed Blankenship.

Lane Johnson was ruled OUT for the rest of the game with a concussion. Britain Covey was ruled OUT with a shoulder injury. Mekhi Becton (finger) was ruled OUT for the game after leaving in the first half. DeVonta Smith was ruled OUT with a concussion after going down early in the fourth quarter.

First Quarter

  • The Saints received the ball first and worked a drive that lasted 8:09 of game time before they settled for a 10-yard field goal. Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave were the focal points of the drive – Kamara had eight carries for 18 yards and Olave grabbed three catches for 36 yards. (Saints 3 – Eagles 0)
  • The Eagles' first drive did not go as planned – the team went 3-and-out with Jalen Hurts being sacked by Alontae Taylor for a loss of eight yards on 3rd-and-11.
  • The Eagles' offense got a spark after Hurts found Dallas Goedert downfield for a 43-yard gain to set them up at the Saints 13-yard line.
