Daniel Alfredsson named to Hockey Hall of Fame
Former Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson has been named to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Alfredsson played 18 seasons in the NHL, 17 of which were with the Senators. He scored 444 goals and 1,157 points in 1,246 games, and led the Senators to the Stanley Cup Final in 2007. Alfredsson was also a six-time All-Star and won the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie in 1996.
