Granby H&R Block reopens in time for tax season

The Granby H&R Block location is back up and running after it abruptly shut down last summer when it was stripped of its franchise.
The office has since changed hands from the franchisee who ran the location for eight years to H&R Block’s corporate office, according to H&R Block representatives.
After the location shuttered last year, Sky-Hi News received several complaints from H&R Block clients, ranging from taxes not being filed to being filed incorrectly. Sandra Moore, who ran the office, was stripped of being a franchisee in June 2024. The company declined to specify why the office closed or why Moore was no longer a franchisee. Moore also declined to share details behind the split.
An H&R Block representative wrote that the company has since reached out to clients who had issues with Moore and has worked to address their problems.
The tax preparation office is in the same location and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays through April 18, according to an H&R Block representative.
