IIHF Misiak replaces Honzek
Slovakia’s Samuel Honzek out for the tournament

Slovak player Samuel Honzek won’t be able to continue the tournament after sustaining a lower-body injury in his team’s last game.

The Slovak U20 national team made an injury replacement with HC Nove Zamky forward Martin Misiak new on the roster in Honzek’s place.

Slovakia will continue the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship tomorrow with a key game for quarter-final qualification against Latvia.
