Inter Milan 0-0 AC Milan LIVE! Champions League match stream ...

Inter Milan vs AC Milan - LIVE!
AC Milan must score at least twice in 45 minutes if they are to reach the Champions League final. Faced with a two-goal deficit tonight after a 2-0 defeat in the first leg of the semi-final tie, Milan have had chances through Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao but the task still remains huge at the San Siro. Inter could have put the tie to bed, with Edin Dzeko forcing Mike Maignan into a stunning save.
Inter are on a seven-match winning run in all competitions, finding form at just the right time as they look to reach the final of this competition for the first time since they lifted the trophy in 2010. Lautaro Martinez has returned to the side after being rested over the weekend, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan limped off with injury int he first-half.
Milan were beaten last time out by Spezia to continue their stumbling run of form, and need something incredibly special to keep their European dream alive. Follow all the action with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog below!
Inter vs AC Milan latest newsKick-off: 8pm BST, San Siro

Inter team news: Dzeko partners Martinez up front
AC Milan team news: Leao back in the side
Standard Sport prediction
FC Internazionale Milano 0 - 0 AC Milan
21:09 , Matt Verri
50 mins: Messias gets into a decent position on the right, clips the ball in but over everyone and straight out for a goal-kick.
If this was being scored based on hopeful crosses into the box, Milan would already be booking their flights to Istanbul for the final.
21:07 , Matt Verri
48 mins: Milan don’t seem to really have a midfield. Plenty of bodies standing up front, enough at the back, and then nothing in the middle it feels like.
Not a great structure for trying to get control of the match. Inter have started the half much the better.
Back underway!21:04 , Matt Verri
Up and running again at the San Siro!
20:58 , Matt Verri
More possession for Milan, but it’s Inter who have had the better moments in attack.
Story continues
They’ve had seven shots, four corners and plenty of dangerous moments. Just four shots for Milan, with the only one that big early Diaz chance.
Have to throw everything at it now.
Big moment for Leao20:53 , Matt Verri
HT: Inter 0-0 AC Milan (2-0 agg)20:49 , Matt Verri
And that’s half-time.
Inter still in control of this tie, Milan hanging on and they need a special 45 minutes.
Chances at both ends, with Maignan doing brilliantly on a number of occasions, while Diaz and Leao went close for Milan.
20:47 , Matt Verri
45+1 mins: Three minutes added on.
Ball bobbles around in the Milan box, very nearly falls for Dumfries but it’s just about hacked away. Not the most convincing defending you’ll ever see.
20:45 , Matt Verri
44 mins: Even the magic spray can’t heal this though. Mkhitaryan limps off, Brozovic is on in his place. Not a bad option to have off the bench.
Approaching half-time. Good news for Milan is that they’re still just about in this. Bad news is they have to find at least two goals from somewhere.
20:43 , Matt Verri
42 mins: Break in play, Mkhitaryan has gone down and on come the Inter physios.
Out comes the magic spray. Never fails, so sure he will be back up and running shortly. And he is indeed back up on his feet.
20:41 , Matt Verri
40 mins: Maignan keeps Milan in it, sensational save!
Ball whipped in from wide, Dzeko powers the header at goal and the goalkeeper somehow reacts in time to keep it out. That would have been good night for Milan.
20:38 , Matt Verri
38 mins: And out of nowhere Leao nearly scores!
He shrugs off Darmian, too strong and he’s away down the left. Skips past Acerbi, tight angle and the left-footed shot is just wide of the far post. So, so close.
20:37 , Matt Verri
36 mins: Leao is miles off the pace on his return to injury. Given it away pretty much every time he’s had the ball, which hasn’t been very often.
Diaz then gives away a needless free-kick, after Acerbi heads a dangerous cross away.
20:34 , Matt Verri
33 mins: Dumfries, of course, is fine to continue.
Really deep line from Milan, back on the six-yard box pretty much. Cross in is too deep and Maignan can claim comfortably enough.
20:32 , Matt Verri
32 mins: Milan have got to be braver in pushing up the pitch. Fairly passive from them at the moment, Leao has barely had a kick.
Dumfries down holding his head, claiming he’s been caught by a high boot from Hernandez. Inter man stooped right down though, not much Hernandez could to there. Inter get the decision.
20:30 , Matt Verri
29 mins: Barella with a lovely run and he gets the ball down the line. Tomori across, ball deflects off him and away for another corner.
Maignan off his line to punch it away, before Martinez has an effort blocked. It’s Milan’s turn to be pushed right back.
20:27 , Matt Verri
26 mins: Milan are struggling now, Inter having a really good spell. Dumfries away down the right, squared across the face of goal and turned behind for a corner.
Hernandez can only clear it away for another one, huge noise from the Inter fans.
Martinez looks to flick this one on, cleared away though. Milan have to get back to that ten-minute spell they had earlier on.
20:24 , Matt Verri
23 mins: There is a lot of space for Inter on the break, Milan taking chances.
Mkhitaryan has three shots in the space of about ten seconds, can’t get any of them on target. Two blocked, the third ballooned over the bar.
20:22 , Matt Verri
21 mins: Inter have done a decent job of getting through that Milan charge. Pace of things has just eased off a bit.
Leao has been fairly quiet, and he loses the ball as he looks to fire a pass inside. Dzeko swiftly back to win it back for Inter and now they can counter.
Martinez drives forward, shoved over and that will be a free-kick. No card for Tonali.
20:19 , Matt Verri
18 mins: Diaz looks to bundle his way into the box, brilliant challenge to halt his progress. He briefly appeals for a free-kick, but even his heart wasn’t in that.
Dimarco breaks away down the left, Messias fouls him and Inter have a chance to slow things down a bit.
20:17 , Matt Verri
16 mins: Another Milan corner coming up, Giroud getting plenty of attention in the middle.
Not far away from him, as he pulled off to the penalty spot but it’s headed out and Inter can push up the pitch. They’re just looking to see out this spell.
20:14 , Matt Verri
13 mins: And now a big save at the other end! Flag eventually up, wouldn’t have counted.
Dzeko in behind, Inter work it brilliantly and it ends with Maignan making a superb save. Really open start to this match.
20:12 , Matt Verri
11 mins: Corner for Milan, headed out by Dzeko in his own six-yard box.
Here come Milan again though, Tonali with a sensational run and he cuts it back for Diaz, has to score!
Completely free in the box, goes to place it but Onana is down in time to save. That’s a massive chance.
20:10 , Matt Verri
10 mins: Milan starting to get going now, much better from them.
Tonali gets in behind, ball stood up to the back post but it’s flicked away and Hernandez can’t quite take it down at the back post. Inter being pushed back now, struggling to get out of their half.
Deep cross to the back post, Giroud beats Onana to it and nods the header back across goal... nobody there for a tap-in.
20:07 , Matt Verri
7 mins: Leao takes far too long on the ball, Dumfries robs him and the Milan winger just drags him to the ground to stop the Inter counter.
A bit later in the match and that would have been a certain yellow card, very cynical.
20:05 , Matt Verri
5 mins: Dear me!
Hernandez tries his luck from all of 40 yards out, maybe more. Outrageous effort, it’s swerving all over the shop and just over the bar. Onana didn’t have a clue what that was doing.
20:04 , Matt Verri
3 mins: Milan looking very shaky, this isn’t the start they needed at all.
Ball knocked down for Dzeko in the box, hammered at goal and it’s a brilliant save... whistle had already gone though. Wouldn’t have counted.
20:02 , Matt Verri
2 mins: It’s Inter on the front foot in the opening minutes, pushing Milan back.
Dumfries very nearly sent away down the right by Mkhitaryan, but Hernandez gets his body across and wins a cheap free-kick.
KICK-OFF!20:00 , Matt Verri
Underway at the San Siro!
Here we go!19:58 , Matt Verri
Teams are out, Champions League anthem has been played.
We’re pretty much ready to get up and running in Milan.
19:55 , Matt Verri
Milan have won one of their last 16 matches away from home in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
They’re down as the ‘away’ side tonight, but very familiar surroundings for them at the San Siro. Will that be enough to improve their poor record?
Almost time to find out!
Inzaghi’s pre-match thoughts19:49 , Matt Verri
“We know it’s one of the most important games in Inter’s history.
“We have an advantage, deservedly so, but we won’t just have to manage it. We’ll have to play as Inter, knowing that we have a strong team in front of us.
“We’re 90 minutes away from a dream, which I and these wonderful guys had.”
So you’re saying there’s a chance?19:44 , Matt Verri
Here’s a stat which won’t give AC Milan a huge amount of hope.
In the history of the Champions League, only once has a side has won the first leg of the semi-final by two or more goals and then failed to progress. That was Barcelona back in the 2018/2019 campaign.
Big, big task!
Not long now!19:37 , Matt Verri
Kick-off coming up very shortly, just under 20 minutes.
We saw over the weekend that the AC Milan players had to walk over and be ‘addressed’ by the club’s ultras after defeat to Spezia, pressure is building on them.
Defeat here to their biggest rivals and the mood could turn very nasty.
All eyes on Leao19:30 , Matt Verri
A lot of pressure on Rafael Leao’s shoulders tonight.
Back from injury, straight back into the starting lineup and the expectation is on for him to deliver for Milan.
Twelve goals and seven assists for the Portuguese star in Serie A so far this season, with a goal and three assists in Europe. Have to feel he needs to add to that tally tonight for his side to have any chance.
19:24 , Matt Verri
Long wait for both these sides19:12 , Matt Verri
Inter looking to end their 13-year wait for a Champions League final appearance, with that coming in 2010 when they beat Bayern Munich to lift the trophy.
Milan haven’t been in the final since 2007, when they edged out Liverpool to get some form of revenge for THAT clash two years earlier.
19:04 , Matt Verri
No danger of Inter fans missing kick-off...
Just under an hour to go until the match gets underway, but there’s already plenty of supporters inside the San Siro. Not an easy night to keep a cool head!
More to come tonight?18:56 , Matt Verri
Leao returns!18:48 , Matt Verri
As expected, Inter’s first-team stars return to the side tonight.
They are unchanged from the side that beat their rivals a week ago in the first leg, meaning Dzeko gets the nod up front to partner Martinez and Lukaku has to settle for a place on the bench.
For Milan, the big news is that Leao is back and in the starting lineup in a huge boost for their chances. Messias also starts, while Thiaw partners Tomori at the back.
Milan team news18:38 , Matt Verri
Starting XI: Maignan, Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez, Krunic, Tonali, Messias, Diaz, Leao, Giroud
Subs: Mirante, Nava, Ballo, Rebic, Kalulu, Kjaer, Florenzi, Origi, Pobega, Gabbia, Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere
Inter team news18:34 , Matt Verri
Starting XI: Onana, Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Martinez, Dzeko
Subs: Handanovic, Cordaz, Gagliardini, De Vrij, Gosens, Correa, Bellanova, Asllani, D’Ambrosio, Stankovic, Brozovic, Lukaku
Inzaghi insists job not done18:29 , Matt Verri
Simone Inzaghi is refusing to let his side allow complacency to creep in ahead of tonight’s match, with the Inter boss fully aware that the job is only half-done.
“We’ll need a cool head and a warm heart,” he said in his pre-match press conference
“We need to stick together, I’m being repetitive, but I don’t see other way to do it. It’s a match where we all know how important it is, and we’ll all go for it together.
“Clearly we know we have a well-deserved advantage. But we also know that we still have 90 minutes plus stoppage time to go, and we have to get through it together.”
18:20 , Matt Verri
Safe to say AC Milan aren’t particularly well-fancied when it comes to winning this competition...
They’re the huge outsiders as a result of that two-goal deficit that must overcome, with Manchester City favourites to get past Real Madrid and go all the way in the Champions League for the first time.
To win the Champions League:
Manchester City - 4/6
Inter Milan - 3/1
Real Madrid - 4/1
AC Milan - 40/1

Inter very much the form team coming into this clash.
Seven wins on the bounce for them across all competitions, a run that has seen them reach the Coppa Italia final, take control of this semi-final tie and move up to third in Serie A, three points behind Juventus in second.
Could prove to be a very special season!

Piolo: Nobody thinks Milan can do it17:53 , Matt Verri
Given their deficit, AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has admitted the build-up has not been easy for his side, as they attempt to pull off one of the all-time great Champions League comebacks.
“It’s not easy to prepare for tomorrow,” he continued. “But we have an important goal: to win the match and to qualify for the final, which nobody would ever predict.
“Nobody still thinks that Milan can reach the final. I know we can play a great match.”
17:43 , Matt Verri
Two goals down inside 11 minutes, not really the start AC Milan were looking for in the first leg.
They avoided any furhter damage, but they’ll have to score at least twice tonight if they’re to reach the Champions League final.
Need to come out of the blocks a bit sharper this time...

Standard Sport prediction17:26 , Matt Verri
With Inter’s position in the tie secure, they are very capable of grabbing at least another goal to avoid Milan pulling off what would be an historic Champions League comeback.
The Rossoneri’s dodgy form and defensive issues should put such a feat beyond them.
Inter to win 2-1 (4-1 on aggregate)
Milan team news17:19 , Matt Verri
Milan coach Stefano Pioli hopes to have Rade Krunic and Junior Messias both available after knocks kept them out of the weekend defeat at Spezia.
But the most important news is the return of Rafael Leao, the Portuguese forward who starred in Milan’s quarter-final defeat of Napoli before missing the first leg against Inter Milan due to a thigh injury.
After joining training over the weekend, he is expected to step up his preparations for Tuesday’s bid to pull off a turnaround in their Champions League semi-final.
With a two-goal aggregate deficit to contend with, Pioli has revealed his plans to start with three attacking midfielders - which is in part due to Ismael Bennacer’s injury absence.
Predicted AC Milan XI: Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Kjaer, Hernandez; Krunic, Tonali; Saelemakers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud (4-2-3-1)
17:10 , Matt Verri
Inter rested seven first-team regulars for the win over Sassuolo - the Nerazzurri aided by their more-stable league position than Milan.
Lautaro Martinez, Andre Onana, Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella will be among the usual suspects returning. Milan Skriniar is out injured.
Simone Inzaghi once again must pick between the in-form Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko to partner Martinez up front.
Predicted Inter XI: Onana; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Martinez (3-5-2)
