'One of Kelly's favorite things': John Travolta honors late wife by dancing with daughter

John Travolta is honoring his late wife Kelly Preston with a daddy-daughter dance.

Travolta returned to social media Friday for the first time since announcing his wife's death on July 13 to share a short video of him dancing with his 20-year-old daughter Ella.

"My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma," Travolta captioned the sweet video. "One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me."

The cute moment received a lot of thoughtful comments from Travolta's followers. 

"She’d be so happy watching this! Crazy how tall your beautiful Ella is! Love your family! Keep posting in Kelly’s honor. She was and IS a beautiful soul!!" commented @aphasna.

@tracekolody wrote: "As a mom I can feel the love she would have felt if she were able to watch that dance. Beautiful."

Jade Pettyjohn, who plays Reese Witherspoon's eldest daughter in "Little Fires Everywhere" showed love by commenting three heart emojis.

Preston died at 57 after a battle with breast cancer.

Travolta wrote an emotional post on Instagram July 13, confirming that his wife of 28 years had died.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer," Travolta, 66, wrote. "She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.

"Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered," Travolta wrote, saying he planned to take time off "to be there for my children who have lost their mother. So forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.  But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."

The couple had three children – daughter Ella, 20, and sons Benjamin, 9, and Jett, who died at age 16 in January 2009 after having a seizure while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas.
