Media reacts: new video of MSU players vs. Michigan football in tunnel
In case the first video of cornerback Ja’Den McBurrows being ganged up on by at least half a dozen Michigan State players, another video emerged on Sunday of a second player being assaulted in the Lloyd Carr Tunnel after the game.
Rumored to be Michigan football cornerback Gemon Green, the Wolverine was in the tunnel surrounded by at least two MSU players, with one swinging what looked to be a helmet toward his back or head.
After the video surfaced on Sunday, there was a visceral reaction by the media. Here is what they are saying about this disturbing new footage.
Looks like something was being swung. Can't tell if it was a helmet. Whatever it was, if you didn't think the McBurrows video justified calling it an assault, maybe this one will offer you more clarity. https://t.co/rnN7UJ6QFC

Unbelievable. And yet so believable. Going to be very interesting to see how the Big Ten responds. https://t.co/VJ5d7FFBVW

Man, the staff member literally running away from the incident instead of trying to stop is a tough, tough look. https://t.co/d1roiqwfnY

As more videos emerge, the scene gets uglier. If you're trying to justify the despicable actions by several MSU players, just stop. Don't be that kind of idiot. Wojo: Wolverines hammer away, and Spartans respond with foolish flailing https://t.co/oaBqvK2OAe via @detroitnews

I can’t believe the justifications I’m seeing by some bonafide lowlifes right now. Waving goodbye and skipping warrants that? Truly embarrassing. I wouldn’t let some of you mfs clean my toilet.
