It's simple... once you know how.

Mortal Kombat 1 is now in early access, and we’ve figured out how to perform Easy Fatalities. This guide is for just that, detailing how you can perform Easy Fatalities in Mortal Kombat 1.

First, you’re likely here ’cause you’re struggling to perform a Fatality or a Kameo Fatality. We’re not judging; we understand that you need to perform 20 unique character Fatalities (Deadly Assassin) and 10 unique Kameo Fatalities (Annihilation) for all-important Achievements or Trophies.

Whilst you can head into the pause menu and search for ANY character’s Fatality — character or Kameo — the ones labelled as “Easy Fatality” won’t be performed unless you have a corresponding Easy Fatality Token to burn.

To obtain Easy Fatalities, you’ll need to spend Dragon Krystals in the Mortal Kombat 1 store. Here’s how to get there:

  • From the main menu, hit the pause button to enter the store
  • Select Premium Items
  • Scroll to Rotating
  • Purchase Easy Fatalities using Dragon Krystals

While the Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 comes with 1,250 Dragon Krystals, they’re unobtainable otherwise without purchase through your platforms corresponding real-world storefront. At present, we don’t know how much Dragon Krystals cost. We’ll update this guide accordingly when Warner Bros and NetherRealm flip the switch.

Once you’ve got tokens, it’s a two-button combination, depending on the character, to perform an Easy Fatality. In the pause menu, head to Move List and and then hit the button to access the full move list. Character Fatalities are under Finishers, and Kameo Fatalities are under Kameo Moves. You can be anywhere on screen to perform an Easy Fatality, unlike regular Fatalities.

Outside of early access, Mortal Kombat 1 will be available from 19 September 2023 on Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5 and Switch. Our review is currently in progress.
