Big Boyz Brigade pushes Edmonton Oilers into serious Stanley Cup contention

The Edmonton Oilers are making waves in the NHL, thanks in large part to their Big Boyz Brigade. This group of defensemen, led by Darnell Nurse and Adam Larsson, has been instrumental in pushing the Oilers into serious Stanley Cup contention.

While having the biggest group of defensemen in the world may not be necessary to win the Stanley Cup, it certainly doesn't hurt. The Oilers have been able to rely on their physicality and defensive prowess to shut down opponents and keep the puck out of their own net.

With the playoffs just around the corner, the Oilers will need their Big Boyz Brigade to continue playing at a high level if they hope to make a deep run. But with the way they've been playing, there's no reason to doubt that they can do just that.
