Mbappe was the star of the show as the holders made it through at the expense of a poor Man City side
The inevitable question about the sublime Kylian Mbappe led Carlo Ancelotti to shower praise on his whole frontline.
"(He's a) fantastic player. We have a lot quality up front; Mbappe, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham," he told TNT Sports. "When they are able to connect together, we are really, really dangerous. And that's what happened in these two games.
"We had a lot of opportunities against a really good team. City are still a really good team. We were really dangerous.
Asked whether he'd rather face Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen in the next round, Ancelotti said: "Really I don't know! What I prefer now is to rest tomorrow, that's it."
