Severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 11 p.m.

The National Weather Service – Mount Holly has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for 19 Pennsylvania counties until 11 p.m. tonight. The forecast says some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain.

Included in that area are Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Philadelphia and Schuylkill counties.

The heat advisories for the area issued yesterday are still in effect. Montgomery County issued a Code Red that is in effect until 8 p.m. Friday.
