Red Cup Day at Starbucks has arrived, here’s how to get a free, reusable, holiday cup on Thursday

Thursday is Red Cup Day, meaning international coffee giant, Starbucks will be giving away free, usable holiday cups to customers who order a holiday or fall beverage at participating stores.
Starbucks released its holiday menu including the new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte and favorites like the Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Irish Cream Cold Brew which are all part of Red Cup Day. The Starbucks Christmas Blend brewed coffee and Christmas Starbucks Reserve, however, are not included in the deal.
Starbucks offers a 10 cent discount to customers who bring their own clean reusable cup into the store for their beverage. The company is currently testing safe options for allowing personal reusable cups at the drive-thru, but right now, personal reusable cups are only accepted inside stores, Starbucks said.
Quantities of cups are limited while supplies last but the red cup is available however you order, including mobile, pickup, curbside pickup and through delivery on Uber Eats.
“As we build on our strong start to the holiday season, we’re delighted to bring back our reusable red cup giveaway for the fourth straight year,” Brady Brewer, chief marketing officer for Starbucks said in a press release. “The reusable red cup has become a tradition for customers each holiday season and is a step towards reducing single-use cup waste as we work towards our planet-positive goals.”
This year’s reusable, red cup honors Starbucks 50th anniversary, the company said, and is made with 50% recycled material. The design of the limited-edition item has the coffee chain’s classic holiday red, with ribbons and stars.
