Squidbillies fires Stuart Baker for comments on Dolly Parton and BLM

Voice actor Stuart D. Baker has been fired from Squidbillies after making offensive comments about Dolly Parton.

The Adult Swim star had voiced the role of the animated series’ main character Early Cuyler since it kicked off in 2005. 

But the actor was let go from the show due to his vulgar description of the country legend, 74, after she voiced public support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Stuart – who also goes by the stage name Unknown Hinson – made a shocking Facebook as he wrote: ‘So, now this freak t*tted, old Southern bimbo is a BLM lover? Remember s**t, Rednecks made you a Millionaire!’

And on Sunday, Squidbillies creators Jim Fortier and Dave Willis revealed on Twitter that he had been dropped as they said: ‘The views he expressed do not reflect our own personal values or the values of the show that we and many others have worked hard to produce over the past 15 years. 

‘For those reasons, production of Squidbillies will continue without Mr. Baker, effective immediately.’

The actor clearly was not happy about the decision as he took to Facebook again, according to TVLine, and wrote; ‘Folks, I’ve been fired from my Cartoon Show, lost my endorsements and my chance of ever being booked by any Music Venue as Unknown Hinson again.’

‘I just hope you a**oles are happy you took a good Man and talent down. You succeeded. Be proud that you ruined a person’s life all because of [the] Freak Show called ‘Dolly Parton and BLM.’

The now-deleted post ended: ‘Thanks a lot. I gave my best to you a**holes for over 30 years. I guess you just love to kick someone when they’re down. That’s so twisted and perverted. Again, thanks! I’m [sic] remember you b******s!’

In her interview with Billboard magazine last week, Dolly had been asked to share her feelings about the recent wave of anti-racism protests and the call to end police brutality.

The singer stated: ‘I understand people having to make themselves known and felt and seen.

‘Of course, Black lives matter. Do we think our little white a*ses are the only ones that matter? No!’

She continued: ‘As soon as you realise that [something] is a problem, you should fix it. Don’t be a dumba*s. That’s where my heart is. I would never dream of hurting anybody on purpose.’
