UFC 314 in Miami headlined by bout for Topuria's vacated title

Ilia Topuria is vacating the UFC featherweight crown, setting the stage for a title fight at UFC 314 in Miami.
Alexander Volkanovski will face Diego Lopes for the newly open featherweight title, Dana White announced Wednesday night.
The undefeated Topuria — who defended his title at UFC 308 in October — will move up to lightweight for a possible challenge to Islam Makhachev.
The co-main event in Miami will feature a five-round lightweight bout between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett.
The main card will also feature a featherweight bout between Yair Rodriguez and former Bellator champ Patricio Pitbull, who will be making his UFC debut.

- Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates at welterweight
- Nikita Krylov vs. Dominick Reyes at light heavyweight
- Dan Ige vs. Sean Woodson at featherweight
- Yan Ziaonan vs. Virna Jandiroba at women's strawweight
- Jim Miller vs. Chase Hooper at lightweight
UFC 314 in Miami will take place on April 12 at the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat. Fans in Canada will be able to watch the pay-per-view event on Sportsnet+.
