Wild vs. Maple Leafs same-game parlayParlay: Maple Leafs moneyline + under 6.5 goals + Marner to score 1+ point (+265)
Maple Leafs moneyline (-205) : Toronto’s at home and that’s where we feel most comfortable picking the team to win.
The Maple Leafs own the second-best home record (22-6-4) in the NHL, winning nine of their last 12 at Scotiabank Arena. They’re entering this contest on two days’ rest and are 8-2-1 at home with a pair of days off between games this season.
The Wild, meanwhile, are a middling 13-11-3 on the road this year.
In addition to owning a better record and goal differential on the season, Toronto’s also playing better as of late. The team owns the fifth-best expected goals percentage (59.52%) in the NHL over the last week, according to Natural Stat Trick. Minnesota, on the other hand, is a disappointing 23rd (47.07%) in the same time frame.
Other parlay picksUnder 6.5 goals (-125) : One of the most profitable bets in hockey at the moment is the under in Wild games.
Minnesota has gone under this total in 12 of the team’s last 13 outings. A large reason for that is outstanding play in net as the squad ranks second in team save percentage (.958) across the last seven days.
Even more specifically, Friday’s starter Filip Gustavsson deserves plenty of credit for the goaltending success. He owns a sterling .928 save percentage this year, producing a .950 mark in his last six appearances.
Marner to score 1+ point (-295) : If the Maple Leafs are playing at home, there’s a good chance Marner’s finding the score sheet. The talented winger has a point in 29 of Toronto’s 32 home games this season.
Regardless of location, Marner has a point in 13 of his last 15 contests. He’s also coming off a standout five-point performance in his most recent outing.
Marner has six points in three games since the Maple Leafs acquired O’Reilly from the St. Louis Blues. The two, along with John Tavares, are developing into a dangerous second line.
