Williams Lake Fire
A wildfire came dangerously close to the edge of Williams Lake before firefighters and BC Wildfire Service crews were able to contain it. Williams Lake firefighters worked on the ground to control the interface portion of the fire, while air crews attacked it from above on Monday morning.
The quick response from both local firefighters and BC Wildfire Service crews helped prevent the fire from spreading further into the city. The teamwork and coordination between the two groups were crucial in protecting the community from potential harm and damage.
