Toronto weather: Winter storm warning for GTA, snow to begin in ...

Toronto and the surrounding regions are preparing for up to another 35 centimetres of snow by the end of this weekend as Environment Canada issues a winter storm warning for much of southern Ontario. 

The weekend weather wallop follows an intense snowstorm earlier this week that blanketed the GTA with about 25 centimetres of snow. According to the weather agency’s warning, the snow is expected to begin Saturday afternoon and last until Sunday evening. The heaviest snowfall will be on Sunday, and between 3 to 6 cm of snow could drop an hour during peak periods.
