North Bay Hydro restores power to 270 customers; smaller outages remain


Power has been restored to multiple neighbourhoods in North Bay following a thunderstorm.
Around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, North Bay Hydro said on Twitter that it was aware of an outage affecting approximately 270 customers in the Memorial Drive, Murray Street and Copeland Street area.
The cause of the outage was a fallen tree on the line.
The power was restored just before 3:30 p.m.
An outage was also reported in the Martin Street, Parsons Avenue and Gertrude Street West area, which has been restored, as well as the West Ferris area, Strathcona Drive, Norman Avenue and Eugene Road.
North Bay Hydro asks residents whose hydro is still out to contact the company.
